| Dear friends, Aion: The Tower of Eternity is almost here, I want to do a simple introduction to the eight classes currently in the game. Each faction will have a slight variation in class skills once they reach the first promotion at level 10. Higher-level players can tailor their character further, with each profession offering two advanced classes, bringing the total number of character types available up to eight. The mage
Mages have weak physical combat ability but they can launch devastatingly powerful magic attacks. At level 10, you get to choose:
Sorcere
The sorcerer is the master of the elements such as water, fire, wind, and earth. A sorcerer's skill set becomes very diverse as their combat ability evolves; AKA human cannon in battle PVP.
Spiritmaster
They use ranged magical attacks. They also can control water, fire, earth, and air spirits, summoning powerful elemental spirits, in the other word they are the only class can have a pet. Each element are different, generally speaking, Earth spirits hold strong defensive abilities, Fire spirits excel in close range attacks, Water spirits concentrate on healing powers and ranged DPS, and Wind spirits are proficient at speed as well as melee and magic attacks. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The priest
Spiritual warriors, priests can use healing and self-protection spells to excel in melee combat, and launch powerful ranged magic attacks too. There are two priest specializations:
Chanter
Healers but with emphasis on buffing ability (improving the statistics of other party members through spells). This class is in some way similar to the enhancer Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine. However, they are a lot more stronger in terms of survivability and power. Not only he can heal, buff but in an emergency a chanter can transform into a powerful soldier and can fight in close range combat using a magic staff, or, similarly to the cleric, mace and shield combination.
Cleric
Healer class. Able to heal and protect; later on will learn powerful Earth and lighting spells deal great damage to single and multi-targets. These are NOT your normal day "healers", they are a lot stronger than healer in other games, as a matter of fact, cleric is one of the strongest PVP classes due to his high HP and healing ability as well as those crazy damage spell learn at higher level and its a MUST HAVE class for any party. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The scout
If mages are magic DDs then scouts are physical DDs! They combine great agility with swift attacks. Scouts can specialize into one of two sub-classes: ranger or assassin
Assassin
Assassins are experts in deft movement and the silent termination of their target. They can perform the first striking without detection and they are artist of combos. Watch your back when they are around because you never know when they are going to come out of invisible and perform crazy damage on you.
Ranger
Ranger are long range damage dealers who can perform range diversity of attack and even though they are really weak at close range, but hey good luck getting close to them because they are arm with trap skills and some arrow skills that provide you from moving, casting. They are especially deadly in the sky.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The warrior
Warriors excel in close-quarter combat. Strong performers in a wide range of situations, Warriors are relatively easy to master. Warriors can specialize into one of two sub-classes: gladiators, who concentrate on dealing damage (DPS), or templars, who combine fierce fighting with defensive chants and techniques (tanks).
Gladiator
Gladiators are the close combat specialists who can use many types of weapons, ranging from double swords to halberds. Their combo are fancy and yet deadly and effective.
Templar
Fighting with a sword in one hand and a shield in the other, the Templar is both guardian and fierce combatant. To remain effective, the Templar should stay on or close to the front firing line. Every party needs a Templar because of their high defense and HP. They are basically the game's tank and their attack will gain most of the hates from monsters. These is another MUST HAVE class for any serious party.
